This document describes how-to use a PIN of the GPIO module of the BananaPi M1

Download the source from https://github.com/LeMaker/WiringBP.git
or fetch it with git clone git@github.com:LeMaker/WiringBP.git

Compile the package and install the binaries.

After that installation one should be able to run command “gpio readall”

BCM is the number one can use in the scripts.

For example I want to use BCM port 22 which is physical pin 15 ( the 8th pin from top in this row of pins )

Prepare this pin to use

# echo 22 > /sys/class/gpio/export

Define the direction

# echo out > /sys/class/gpio/gpio22/direction 

Now set the pin to LOW

# gpio -g write 22 0 

or to HIGH state

# gpio -g write 22 1 

Check the result on pin 15 with a voltmeter or an oscilloscope.
